At the Core: Advanced Safety Technology
Safety is the core issue at PCB holdings. We make a significant investment in ongoing systems refinement and advanced training, so our customers can be sure of the safest, most reliable service.
Our four-stage decontamination process begins with a total encapsulation of the work area, enclosing it in an air-tight bubble.
Pumps maintain negative air pressure inside the encapsulation to ensure there can be no loose fibre escape. The encapsulation is smoke tested to prove its seal.
Works wear full protective clothing and breathing apparatus and go through a decontamination process at the end of each shift.
Collected asbestos is fully sealed before it leaves the encapsulation area, for approved disposal.
The entire operation is monitored by an independent assessor, including constant air testing, to ensure an absolutely safe outcome.
Other Hazards
PCB are not limited to just Asbestos removal (chrysolite, amosite and limpet), PCB is expert in removal of a range of other hazardous materials - as listed below but not limited to:
Asbestos Risk Assessment Service
PCB provides written asbestos risk assessments, made by a qualified assessor and backed by our extensive experience.
These can be used in negotiating sales, costing projects and in insurance determinations.
A risk assessment is also recommended for duty-of-care compliance in older buildings where the asbestos status is not known, either for the security of workers or to guard against unexpected discoveries that may seriously disrupt work.
Emergency Response Service
PCB's fully-equpped emergency response team deals quickly with unexpected asbestos risks, in the first instance to seal the risk area and contain any further contamination, and then to plan effective removal to make the site permanently safe.
Offshore and Remote Area Services
All PCB staff are Huet Trained (compliant) and qualified to deliver specialist services to offshore sites (oil and gas rigs, vessels) and in remote areas (mine sites, power stations).

PCB is fully licensed, meeting and exceeding all regulator requirements including EPA, ODH and OSHA rules. PCB also holds a Class 3 Demolition Licence.
